I have a great plan of starting an online business. How can I approach investors and what do I need to do in order to achieve this?

Assuming you have already approached your friends, relatives and colleagues, you may want to explore possible investment assistance from angel investors

I have a cunning internet business plan?
Building profitable websites for companies whether they want me to or not. If they like it, they can offer to buy them off me. I have trouble getting employment even though I’m quite capable of building profitable websites, so this seems like a good course of action for me. Any ideas?

Good idea. You should build a standard sales pitch emphasizing the benefits of having a web presence, and how the cost of your website can be paid for by adding only [xx] new customers! Should pretty much sell itself, as long as you keep your cost reasonable.
I’m surprised every day how many businesses do not have a website. Part of my job is researching new companies/sources of supply, and my best tool is the internet. No website, no business.

YOU HAVE TO PLAN AHEAD.
Begin by thinking about what you want to do.
Make a website? Squidoo? Do you have an investment to start with to begin your site?
Do you have investment to OUTSOURCE you work? Make it easier on u?
Start with a site. (yes put some affiliate links in there BUT PROVIDE CONTENT)
Then DAILY plan on how to build traffic to it.
Different methods… You should know these.. If not check out the site…
Anyways, PLAN and put your thoughts on paper aswell as tell yourself what to do and so on so forth BUT STICK TO IT.
