How safe is public transit in San Diego?
My Dad has a business trio to San Diego soon and my sister and I are going to go with him. However, the way it all works, my sister and I are going to get there about 6 hours earlier than our dad. I looked online and apparently there is a bus that goes from the airport right to downtown. Is public transportation generally safe there? Also, what area are best to avoid? We won’t be out at night so that should be a problem but still.

The bus downtown is the 992 which has 1 stop in all 3 terminals of Lindbergh Field (my advice when u board the bus is to pay $5 and buy a day pass which is good on all local buses and the trolley for the whole day) the bus itself is dominated mostly by people who work at the airport and a few travelers so overall it is very safe but isn’t very infrequent once every half-hour.
The San Diego trolley is pretty safe you’ll see some bums and other sketchy people especially in the downtown area between America Plaza and 12 and Imperial but for the most part nobody will bother u. One thing u need to know about the trolley is that the doors are not opened by the conductor you have to open them yourself by manually pressing buttons on the side of the doors!
City buses can be a little sketchy especially the 932 and the 11 and 15 but you really have no reason to take them anyways!!

I’m a good looking mother of 2 boys who was very fortunate to have done some extensive travel when i was younger, and never could shake that gotta go lifestyle one gets when the travel bug gets in your bloodstream. Having said so I’m stuck in a horrible marriage living in SO CAL and have a part time job with great bene’s, but I’m looking for something that i know I’m good at and love that will be lucrative enough that i can support my self and kids in sunny expensive San Diego (native). Got some good advise?

I suggest you create a website that caters to hotel bookings. You need to tie up with different hotels so they’ll give you a better deal. But since you’re just starting out. I suggest you can start as a consultant first to travellers.

Where to promote an event about kindness in business?
Hi,
The event is in San Diego and I posted it on most online calendars and in Asian Journal.
Does anyone have any ideas on where I can promote the event further to get to small business owners (0-5 employees) who want to be successful in business without giving up on being nice?
Any magazines you think I should advertise in? Websites? Any ideas?
