I am looking for contacts of IT people who are from Nagamangala,Mandya district in Karnataka,India for setting up a farmers association in Nagamangala for achieving following objectives. Interested people who are having agricultural land in Nagamangala may respond. If the people are settled in Bangalore, it is well and good although it is not a mandatory expectation.

Objectives and plan:

1. The association will encourage the members to grow Papaya in their land in integrated farming method.
2. The objective would be to resist usage of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. Each member should adhere to this primary guideline
3. The produce shall be marketed directly to fruit outlets and Homes in Bangalore. Appropriate infrastructure shall be setup for marketing in Bangalore. I have been able to find good market from direct customers in Bangalore for Papaya grown in my farm. Currently the market size is for 100 Kgs per week. I have about 100 yielding plants and have expanded it to 500 plants which will start yielding in another 8-10 months
4. The plan is to bring atleast 50-60 acres of land under papaya cultivation so that we are able to supply on regular basis to customers in Bangalore.
5. The Profit shall be shared based on the amount of produce from each member less the transport and marketing cost.
6. Unlike other farmers association, this association shall NOT provide any financial assistance for the members. It shall be used only as a marketing facility for the produce from the members.

I intend to run this association as a marketing facility for other agriculture products like Raagi, vegetables etc in future. In future, As an expansion plan, this association shall get involved into trading of agricultural products for Middle east counties.
I am looking for about 10-15 people with each having 4-10 acres of land and who would be willing to grow the papaya as per the guidelines set by the society. Once we have enough people to drive this idea, we can start with the registration of the association formally. Though I have not worked out the establishment cost for this association, I am guessing that Initially one may have to invest about Ten to twenty Thousand rupees for setting up the association. This investment shall be used for registration of the association, printing stationary and marketing stuff.

How would you deal with a chronic Liar?

Here is my story.

I have a business partner that most people find very charming, and rather simple. But that is deceiving to say the least and he is far from simple. Over the last year and say four months I would overlook what I viewed as exaggerations and tall tale telling on his behalf. Recently I had to confront him for what I saw as inappropriate sexual behavior towards me ( I am a lesbian and he is straight ), which he denied and I had to list about 4 incidents to get him to admit it. Also I caught him in two lies regarding our business that have led to some major discussions between us. Remember he is adept at placing the blame everywhere and direct questions are met with evasion. Even with direct proof he will evade and dismiss. Also a week ago it was brought to my attention by a computer geek that someone is accessing my computer without my knowledge and going through personal files. There was something irregular that came up on my computer that alarmed me. I am still investigating this one, but I will give you one guess on who I suspect. Normally I would just end my association with such an individual and jettison their ass to the curb, BUT suddenly, because a friend of mine connected me with two major players in our industry in the past two weeks, we are on the verge of being very, and I mean very successful with a product my business partner created and I marketed. And there are two other products that he created and I marketed that I learned this week are going to sell as well. Because of the financial/time investment I cannot simply walk away. I always knew the products would be a success but I never bargained for this…any thoughts, ideas or suggestions?
Mark, I knew you would answer this well my Aussie friend and it makes the most sense to me for a number of reasons. First and foremost it is true that everyone lies. I have lied to spare another person something painful, which is perhaps my rationalization or because I did not want an argument to ensue, but if I am asked a question directly I have always answered it…it is the lies of omission I am speaking about. Yet IMO there are “core issues” at stake with lies and business and it IS my reputation, and naturally because of my realization about my business partner ( who cares if I was slow in putting it together..lol ) it has made me ask a lot more questions, and conduct a lot more investigation, and most of all to be very clear in my communication. True, the bottom line is there are no friends in business and to think otherwise is an illusion. Perhaps this is one reason this all came to pass. My Disneyworld mentality needed to go.

Ideas…..?

I am a consultant with a Network Marketing based business. I do not want to try to debate the validity or whether it is a pyramid or not. Anyone who thinks so can research the direct selling association. My Question is…

Does anyone have any fresh ideas for identifying and reaching a target market of people interested in antiaging products, who are interested in being proactive with their health and wellness and possibly are interested in a home based business as well?

I just want to know effective ways to accomplish this without breaking the bank.
