I am starting an online service to match those in need of residential services with the contractors who actually do the work. The service is free for the homeowners in need of service, and the leads that go to the contractors are charged at 5-10 dollars per lead. The website consist of a form where the user enters personal information about their home and their project requirements. I do have an SSL certificate in place on my server to protect peoples’ personal information.

I am starting an online business (services website) that requires an investment of 130,000. I am the guy who came up with the idea and who’ll be the first CEO for the company (I will get a salary for this). I have 3 interested investors, and their contributions will add up to the US$ 130,000. We are negotiating what percentage of the business they’ll have. How much should I give them? How much should I keep? I am asking for 38% for my contribution and 62% goes to them. Am I right?

Question about postage for businesses could you help?

Hi there,

Our business is an online buyback service and we are sorting out a few things we have to do regarding our postage.

We want our customers to be able to send us their books in return for cash, so we will be sending them a letter which includes a mail bag for them to post their books to us.

What do we need to do to ensure that we pay the postage on the books beforehand, rather than our customers paying for the postage? We want this to be a free part of the service.
