I’m going to give the benefit and assume this is for some kind of sociology project. Because of the PC world we live in, it is highly unlikely any company (especially if they are publically traded) would gladly post that info on their business website in fear of being misconstrued as looking racist and loosing customers. You probably wouldn’t get anywhere if you were to contact any customer service reps (that would be info the company wouldn’t give to a minimum wage employee anyway). My advice on avoiding a scam would be first to research the company that is offering this product or service. Look them up at the better business bureau and also see if any financial magazines have written about them. How long have they been in business? Are they doing well? Next look at the products and services they are offering. Are they things of any real value? Do they have value to you personally? Would you be willing to spend money on what they are offering today? You say you have no time for a job but to make money on the internet it not only takes hard work, it takes time.
