Your Questions About Email Marketing Services

Maria asks…
What are some of the best ways to market investment properties online or offline, residential and commercial?
As a real estate agent specializing in investment properties, residential and commercial, I would like to know what are the best ways to market my services and products. I have access to residential properties that will cashflow with almost no money down and that are located in high-growth and high-appreciation areas, particularly Branson Missouri. The commercial properties have a strong cap rate and very competitive with the rest of the nation. I welcome any suggestions and, if it is something you tried yourself in the past, I would appreciate a brief explanation as to the results obtained. Thank you in advance everyone!

Looking to grow our ad agency. What related services or offerings do you recommend?
We have 9 employees. We’ve been growing by about a 20% per year clip in revenue. We’d like to grow faster. We offer print design: catalog, direct mail, brochures, etc. and web/interactive: e-commerce, website design, etc. In addition we offer search engine marketing, video production, telemarketing, media scheduling, email marketing and a few other related services. What lucrative services are we overlooking? What are the trends showing? Should we resell a product or service?

Jere answers:
Market research would be a good thing to do and then you would know what your cleints need too as well as yourselfs

John asks…
How to i market our service to real estate agents and professionals?
My client has a service that allows real estate agents to promote their listings online (http://www.vflyer.com) by distributing to the major online marketplaces, email and widgets.
I want to know what is the most cost-effective, efficient and scalable way to promote the service to real estate agents.
Marketing ideas we are considering and evaluating are:
1. Direct Mail Using Postcards
2. Email (Opt-out) marketing
3. Fax Marketing
4. Sponsorships
Not sure which are most effective or which real estate agents are most open to. Would love to get some input. We want to get their message out since everyone who uses it loves it out but they don’t want to be too intrusive or have our message considered spam.
We would love creative ideas to reach large numbers of real estate professionals inexpensively.

Jere answers:
Real estate agents use Multiple Listings to sell their services. They all have web sites too.
Direct mail had been proven to be useless in marketing studies. Fax marketing is just plain annoying. Email is spam.
Forget about it.

Thomas asks…
How should I best market my catering services to companies to cater meetings?
I was thinking about starting to market my catering services to companies with offices, hoping that they will buy food for meetings of 20+ people.
Should I call, mail, email or what will be the most effective way to market to them?

Jere answers:
You have to visit each office personally. Have your menu with you (that shows your website, and your e-mail address), and drop it off at the reception desk. Ask “Who do I call to follow up on this.” You’ll almost always get the name of the person responsible for ordering food in. Make your followup phone call a day or two later.
Repeat for 10 offices each day. There is no shortcut to this process.

Sharon asks…
How do you think email marketing helps your business?
Consider the service you’re using and what value you get from it…

Jere answers:
Email Marketing is very much in trend right now. If you have an email account then you must be quite aware about the emails you get every day. Companies want to target their customers in all possible ways and emails are something that most of the people use on everyday basis. It has become our routines to check emails and look for something interesting. If you use email marketing in a right way then you might get the desired business only through this source.
People are scared of spending money to buy email lists but I say if we are getting good deals, loads of emails and that too without wasting time to search for it then why not. Its going to repay back with profits only. Imagine reaching company’s CEO or such higher authorities directly to promote your business. Doesn’t it sound good. You just need to find a perfect way.
Our company has been buying data from http://frescodata.com since last eight months or so and we haven’t faced a problem yet. They keep updating their data regularly. Best for B2B dealing I would say. We recently bought 2 Million Australian Business executive email list and it was perfect. See the website I hope you will find what you are looking for.
All the best!!
