A few years back I bought an audio book on CD online for $39.00 to learn how to play the piano by ear. When my audio book arrived, I was surprised to see that it was simply 2 generic CD’s and a 25 page workbook created with a word processor and bound with a cheap plastic comb filter. Needless to say I was a little skeptical judging by the audio book product presentation. However, once I used the audio book course I ended up loving my purchase.

I realized that recording my own audio book was within reach. I started doing research on how to make an audio book and was excited to find out just how affordable and easy it was to create and make an audiobook. Six months later (remember, I had a lot of research to do) I published my first audio book and placed an order for 100 professionally duplicated and packaged audio book CD’s from a duplication service I found online.

A month after that, I created my second audio book on how to quit smoking because I was trying to quit myself. Today, it is my best selling audio book CD. I even sell it at several local retail outlets including local book stores, dentists, and liquor stores.

I’ve carved out a nice income creating audio books and publishing my own informational CD’s. Today, I spend other time creating custom audio books for others for a generous profit. Imagine all the opportunity from taking thousands of E-books and making audio books out of them for a tidy profit.
