Google Local Business Listing is very easy to do.

If you can run your business, you can do a business listing, most of the details required are business name, contact information, website address and a 200 character description. Include some of you product or service keywords in the description.

When you submit, you will be asked to verify the listing information, with choice of telephone call or by post.

Telephone call is the fastest.

When the telephone call comes through, there will be an automated message with a 5 digit PIN number. You enter this into the box on the Google Local business centre, then click verify.

NOTE: You will need to register for a googlemail account then submit your website / business details to Google’s local business centre.
