Whats the danger of opening a personal account and using is specifically for your business related purposes?

I want to use an online bank for my business but it only allows you to open personal accounts. Is it legal to use a personal account specifically for businesses purposes and what troubles could I run into down the line.

Jere answers:

If you are serious about running a buisness, then take a few extra steps and open a business account. This will help you seperate business and personal costs. If you have an issue with the IRS down the line (small business are auditing a lot), you are better of doing business in your business acocunts.

Is HSBC online banking safe to use to pay you’re HSBC credit card? Is it safe to give them you’re bank info?

I just recently got a credit card with them and would like to use their online banking center to pay my credit card. I see a lot of complaints with their United States banking operations. I would like to know if other consumers who use them have good experiences with them or bad experiences. I know they are a world bank but it seems they have a lot of complaints in the U.S.A.

Jere answers:

I have never had a problem and I have done business with them for over a year

What bank has the highest savings rate right now? Online? Safest banks?

I would like to get a savings account with the highest interest rates going right now. But I also want to do business with a well-known and popular bank, especially online banks. I only have a couple hundred dollars to open up an account with. Any suggestions?

Jere answers:

Try HSBC direct and Wamu, both have online savings accounts over 3%. I believe that ING has a good online savings as well
