My older sister earned her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University Phoenix in Seattle. I never really thought much of online schools until I saw how much work they gave her — they’re not ‘jock’ classes (as we would call them in high school — easy A’s). I flew up for her graduation from San Diego and it was very impressive. I think of all the online universities University of Phoenix is one of the best (if not the best).
Conversely, I also knew a person who earned a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from DeVry online — he was shockingly idiotic. I have no idea how he earned a degree, but he should never have been granted one.
Also, the same is true for regular universities … I met a couple students in various graduate programs that were grossly incompetent, yet still managed to earn a degree (though they did not deserve it).

online dating profile….here is my intro…thoughts? Be honest?
To keep it simple, I grew up in Philadelphia before moving to San Diego when I was 12, but returned to U.Penn for undergrad. I worked in Boston for about 4 years (which I loved) and then moved North to receive my MBA at Stanford Business School. I now live in LA working in investment management. I have found the job of my dreams and am now ready to find my other half. I will take my best guess at how my friends would describe me which would be easy going, fun, caring, patient, confident but not cocky, loyal, and an overall “good guy”. I am looking for someone to simply enjoy…..sounds easy enough, but I am sure everyone reading this knows exactly how challenging it can be to find the subtleties of such a simple concept. I don’t think describing my perfect girl is all that productive….if it clicks…it clicks. I believe the family values by which I was raised have shaped who I have become today and hope to find someone who shares those values. What better place to look than online 😉

So I have been stuck on two majors… Culinary Arts and Psychology. Im leaning towards Culinary Arts and I have already been accepted to the AI of SD. I dont want to over pay and be in alot of debt, so i want to make sure that this school is a good one to go to and if this program is good.
I also was wondering after i graduate that if its a good idea to go get my major in business so i can open my own restaurant.
