What safety measures should I have/put in place to hire an assistant?
who will have access to my personal and business financial and other data. I’m looking to hire either an intern or a part time person for about 5 hours/week. Much of the work they can do from home so there would be file sharing via some online service, but this is not a necessity since they can also work from my home or office.

This is significant. It seems to me you need to concern yourself at least as much with legal protection as with technical security measures. Having held a similar position of trust for an elderly relative, I know how easy it would have been for a criminally-minded person to run off with all of my relative’s money. And, don’t think “nice” people can’t do this. A trusted aide ran off with a huge sum by counterfeiting checks she found in the home.
It is worth spending a couple hundred dollars getting solid legal advice on this.

How can I rent an online business address in Houston?
I am trying to start my own business from home, but I need to register with a store front address. The person helping me get set up told me that I can rent a business address online, but that she doesn’t know where I could fine one. I have google searched all day and I have not found a site that will let me do that. I just need an address that I can put on my application.
Jere answers:
If you need a street address, the easy thing to do is get a private mail box. You can rent them from many places around Houston, including The UPS Store, Postal Annex, Mailbox Depot and others. There are probably several in your neighborhood.
If you only need a mailing address, you may be able to use a P.O. Box from your local post office.
Another possibility is a business identity program (usually available from executive suites) but that may be more service than you need.

How do I anonymously get family counseling?
My home is fairly abusive and its affecting everyone. I don’t want to put all my business online but its causing A lot of pain. Is there a way I can get a family counselor to visit and help fix us? I fear that if this continues, people could get seriously hurt. Do I have to report it anonymously? How do I get about this process? If my dad finds out its me then I guess its okay, but I don’t really want him to. Please respond fast and rapidly. I need options.

Emotional abuse IS abuse. Call the child protective services hotline in your state and report your own parents. CPS can get involved, hear your side of the story, and can decide certain things based on how willing your parents are to co-operate.
CPS might decide that your father is the more appropriate guardian and take you out of your mother’s custody. CPS might decide that neither of your parents are appropriate guardians and place you in their custody while your parents have a chance to go to therapy, make life adjustments, and follow the rules of the “case plan” CPS creates for them to be able to get you back. If CPS determines that it is not in your best interests to be in either of your parent’s homes, they will place you in a foster home or with a willing relative until you are 18. In some places you are able to voluntarily extend your stay in foster care until you are 20, so that you have more time to get on your feet as an adult.
If you work a stable job, can obtain stable housing on your own, you can skip CPS and file for status as an emancipated minor with the courts. This status will not be granted to you unless you are already able to support yourself as an adult.

I want to reach people who 1. want to establish their own companies and create a success with them, 2. are looking for success business ideas, and franchises (which they know will cost some money for them, ofcourse, so no “free riders”) and 3. are already in business (especially online) and need to advertise.
So are there any REALLY good websites with high amounts of traffic within these categories each month (like 1 million, or more), or
REALLY good newsletters about these subjects which provide true meaningful content to their readers, have high amount of subscribers who truly read these newsletters, and which can be sponsored by advertisers, or
high-traffic entrepreneurial blogs , etc etc…
If anybody knows, AND has own experience that these resources (what ever they are) have provided lots of clients, could you tell me too?
I am looking for resources to build hig traffic and to get LOTS of contacts to people of the above mentioned interest areas

1. Businessweek-small biz section gets approx 3min page views a month
2. Economist – ideal resource for business news
3. Inc
4. Smartmoney
5. Redherring.com – small biz section
Hope u were more specific on the markets ur interested to target; each of these on line mags offers newsletters as an option to reach out to discerning audiences.
While on line advertising certainly gets u targeted audience, viral applications would also help u spread your word across the hi-profile surfers. We can consider a referral program that can ideally aid in getting more registrations for your product/ service. Further, being a b2b initiative there are lots of sites across specialized, niche areas such as : IT, Fashion, Travel et al. Look at the growth sectors that web2.0 has to offer, namely,: Travel, On line Trading, Merchant Banking, Technology Solutions and similar industries. I want to purchase some online Customer Service training that I can use with different companies.?
I am currently running a small training business and am looking to find out if there is a possibility that there is an Online Customer Service course already created by someone that I can possibly buy the rights to run.
This would save me alot of time gathering the information together, and I am willing to pay a licence fee to whoever wrote the training programme.

I may actually know further and higher education institutions that may be interested to partner with you.
Why interested, cause i seen various trainers going to them for partnership programs to grant their awards and that institutions awards and certificates! So it could be a good idea to try your luck.
