Does anyone know what would be the best way to advertise my cleaning business online?
It is a fairly new business and I really want it to work out, but advertising is my problem and it is really hard for me to live on what few jobs I have gotten. I need to know if I am going about it the right way. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Before I would advertise online, you may want to try a few of these ideas.
1. Offer to your current customers their next cleaning for free if they refer you a new customer. This will enable you to solicit their help and reward them for helping grow your business. The best part? You won’t have to convince the new customers that you provide quality service because they automatically assume that their friends wouldn’t recommend someone that wasn’t good!
2. I would also recommend that you produce some inexpensive flyers that you can leave door-to-door or if allowable by your local ordinances, on car doors/windshields. Make sure the flyer includes 50% off their first cleaning if they mention that they found you from the flyer. I would even make a coupon on the flyer and require it for the 50% off. This will help to ensure that they actually keep your flyer around.
3. With the holidays coming, your flyer may want to focus on being able to do one-time cleanings the day before someones holiday party. Of course I would charge more for one-time cleanings versus regular ongoing contracts that you have, but stress the urgency to book early before all of the prime cleaning dates are booked up!

Hi Paras,
Did you check out Catherine’s transcription site yet, she mainly lists transcription jobs that can be performed from home. There are a few that ask for US residents only, but a vast majority of them are open to anyone. I have been getting small jobs from her for almost two years and I live in Canada.
