What are some the best online payment services?
My website is receiving 18,000 visitors/month. I’d like to start selling ad space on my website. However, I don’t want to setup a business account at this time. That being said, I’d like to receive online payment in unlimited amounts of $$$$.
Example: Person1 would send $50 to my account, by using my email address. The service I’d use would send me an email showing that I have received $50 in payment. I would accept payment and receive a check from the service that I am using.
The check would be sent to my real name.
I know Pay Pal is one online service, but they have a payment limit if you are NOT using a business account.

Paypal is the best by far. It allows you to take Visa, Mastercard, and Amex, which makes online purchases much more convenient for your customer, which means more business for you, right?

What are Intellectual Property Rights on starting a on-line business?
Hi,
I am thinking about starting an online business that provides a service. Although there are currently NO online services for this discipline there is one other service that I have seen that will work similar to mine.
I am sure that there are many online services that could fall into an IPR dispute!
So my question is: What are the IPR regulations on starting an online service business?

No such thing as IP regulations. You can PATENT an invention or business process. This is called Intellectual Property Rights. No patent, trademark, or copyright, then no IP protections.
If you have IP protected with a patent, trademark, or copyright, you can sue in civil court when someone misappropriates your property.
Amazon.com used to claim intellectual property right for the “One Click Process” that lets you check out with a stored credit card using just one mouse click. The Office of Patents and Trademarks recently overturned that patent because of prior art and it was considered obvious and trivial.

Is there a company online where I can get a fax number and receive faxes through email?
I’m starting a small business online and many of my wholesalers want to fax documents. I don’t want to have to get a landline just to get the couple of faxes that in all reality can and should be sent via email. Does anyone know of an online service that offers to convert faxes to email for you and give you a “fax number” for a small fee? Thanks.
