Direct marketing means personalized not broadcast. Examples could be mail, flyers, email, etc. They are intended to communicate one on one.
Direct marketing works best when you know your target audience is, then have a great list with that target on it, then a great offer. Creative is important – but if you don’t have the first 3, you are throwing money away.

Do u think a company can push its sales more by direct marketing method. Do you think it is more effective way of marketing over other methods.

Different types of marketing are appropriate at different stages of the buying process. A company should design their marketing mix accordingly. There are situations where direct marketing isn’t appropriate or effective but many companies rely on direct marketing to generate qualified sales leads. In many cases, a company can generate $20-$50 in directly measurable sales for every $1 spent on direct marketing. With that kind of ROI, direct marketing is an integral part of many marketing plans.

What are some great sites to sell direct marketing consumer lists to businesses quickly?
I have some direct marketing lists that I want to sell. They are generalized, regional specific lists (mostly customers based in Florida) and I want to try to sell them to people looking to expand their businesses, either those located in Florida or trying to build a base in Florida.
I am selling them cheaper than the going rate because I am just getting started. And while I know a lot of people sell to bigger direct marketing companies, I don’t really want to go that route right now.
Any suggestions? High traffic/high response sites preferred.
