Your Questions About Direct Marketing

Maria asks…

Where can I get free direct mail marketing lists?

I am completing a marketing plan and must include direct mail lists to new companies. It seems there are only lists for sale, however I am wondering if there are free lists out there. Does anyone know of any good sites to find them?

Jere answers:

They don’t exist besides you wouldn’t want them if they did.

You’re going to want a scrubbed list for your target market anyway.

Most websites are extremely overpriced for data lists.

If you shop around you should be able to get 1000 names (and address ect scrubbed to your liking) for under $80 bucks.

John asks…

How can I find in-direct marketing firms in Texas?

Every “marketing firm” that i see on hotjobs or monster have a hidden sales gimick. What I really want to do is to be in a team atmosphere and come up with brochures, flyers, slogans for companies, and/or create marketing campaigns for new products.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dear friends now i make my computer as a money making machine. I have been in the Home based Internet Business for over 3 years. When I first entered in to this type of Internet Money making Business I was not familiar with Online Money making concepts. I have seen many websites on how to make huge Money on the Internet. Like many others, of course like you, I started searching and exploring the Internet money making programs. I joined many Money making websites and I was expecting a successful Home based Internet Income Opportunity. But I never succeed. Even if I succeed, I earned very little Money. But I never gave up and I keep on searching for different programs and better Internet Income Opportunity. One fine day, accidentally I discovered this great Internet Money making website. Jenny asks…

Is it really profitable to join a direct marketing/multi level marketing organization?

Some of my friends are trying to get me to sign up for various direct selling/private franchising business opportunities.
Is it really good? I mean, when I need to buy soap, shampoo, etc, I head for the supermarket, as do most of the folks I know. Who really buys from the auntie next door who holds a franchisee?
What do you say?

Jere answers:

I seriously doubt it because almost every MLM exploits countless people. The only MLM folks making serious money are either very early investors and those who find enough friends to exploit.

If you are part of an MLM and don’t believe you exploit members that you recruit, let me ask you this: Why won’t you let the friends that you recruit buy from your upstream provider just like you? Other than getting them started, you offer little of value but take a large chunk out of their sales. In fact, your upstream provider takes a large commission from your downstream sales team, who probably never even know who is your upstream provider. Your upstream provider charges your downstream for no legitimate reason.

If you don’t see this as exploitation, by all means jump right in.
