I read a newspaper article where a student-girl made her own business by ordering clothes/shoes from China and then selling them online. She eventually made her own clothing brand store. Help on starting up small business online and at boot sales.?
I am currently in the process of ordering a large number of gadgets from china and plan to sell them online and at boot sales. I have ordered from china before and have no qualms with the importation process.
My query is, what do i need to do to ensure my business is legit. At the moment this is my brief business plan checklist type thing, in the order i aim to carry them out.
– Register business name
-Sell at boot sales, promoting my soon to be operating web site with leaflets.
– Open ebay shop and sell items on there too.
-Set up e-commerce site with a bespoke Professional web design team and purchase relevant Domains and begin to sell items on there.
My query is, if need be, where and how do i register my business for resale of items from china. I know i have to register the name of my business. And the products coming from china are patented and carry legitimate safety ISO standards. But what else do i need to do to ensure i am legally selling these products.

China scam me and Revenge against China?
On June 26th 2007, I am planning to make business online to get product from china to sell on ebay, I find the website into China www.cnmall-online.com and talk with this man to ask if it have product of Sony Laptop
so this man says yes and it alone 360$ plus shipping 20$ total is 380$.. so this china man wants used western Union for make payment… so I never used WU before.. So i did sent my money 380$ to him.. He says he got it then gave me fake tracking number for shipping, so I am wait for item over 6 day because the china man says i will receive 2 to 3 day, so I email him again, then he says HAHAHA then block me, then I told him I want my money back! He says I am not man… a woman! I was very upset and devastate for 4 month ago, i already told my dad about what happen.. He says Mostly women in china are scammer and there nothing get money back or report because OVERSEA cant reach of police there to arrest that china woman.. will I get revenge get money from china use WU?

Sorry to say you have lost you hard earne dollars. Never send money WU unless its a gift to a relative etc
There are many stories of scams from china – even container loads of good arriving and the purchaser/importer finding boxes filled with bricks etc.
Write this off as a hard lesson learned and put your negative energy into something positive. You could spend a lot of time getting angry and frustrated with no result.

I’ve recently heard about this agent website to help people to buy directly from china, and the price is so cheap. I’m doing some small business and just need small amount of products, I wonder how? Thanks.

I used helloeasybuy before and it is simple and fast. I registered, and looked for products i want on taobao, copy and paste the URL into the order form they provided, fill in some details, and submit, and they will keep you in touch, that is it. The products are good than i expected. I do recommend this for your small business. Good luck.
