Your Questions About Email Marketing Lists

Sharon asks…

Can we use third-party email marketing lists?

Jere answers:

The law does not stop you using rented email marketing lists. However, you are responsible for any emails you send so make sure that the individuals you are sending the email to gave their consent for their details to be passed to third parties. You should check with the list rental business that they have the consent of the individuals concerned.

Nancy asks…

How to build an email marketing list?

Just another question guys and girls:
Is it possible to build an email marketing list that could make droves of money on line?
If so, any one with strategies?
Thanks

Jere answers:

Hello,
You need an autoresponder, a website and a plr product to give away:
Autoresponder is for capturing emails and also you use it to send your list emails
A website basically is needed for attracting your customers to your site where they’ll give you their email addresses so they can be your list
A PLR product is an incentive or enticement for them to want to give you their email addresses, if your PLR product is of good quality then you can count on having them as loyal list of customers.
Good luck to you.

Carol asks…

How do I get people to Opt-In to my internet Marketing Email List?

I currently run a small internet marketing blog and I have an email autoresponder with which I offer a free 5 day mini course on my subject matter.

The subject matter is: Internet Marketing and making money online.

How would you suggest I promote the actual opting in to my email list to build a list of prospects etc.

Jere answers:

The best way to sign people up and keep them coming is useful, original content that is always fresh and updated. In fact, if you’re talking about making money online, I’d hint at ways that you could do it which are easy or at the very least intriguing.

Since you’re touting yourself as a subject matter expert, you need to demonstrate that what you have to say is valuable and they can benefit from it. Success stories are good for this and will improve your chances that they will stay tuned.

Other ways to build opt-ins are referrals (ask subscribers to refer a friend), an incentive of some kind, purchase an email list (this is kind of a gray area), or find a partner who might already have a decent list and sponsor them.

Also, since you run a blog, are you fully syndicated? There’s a lot of chatter out there and at the very least you should participate in boosting your blog’s reputation.

Ruth asks…

what is email list marketing?

i have read a few things about this email marketing, basically what i understand from it is that you take my email address, and then what?

i mean what do you do with my email list? and how can i make one like that?

Jere answers:

This email marketing thing works like this –

you give some valuable content to the users, in return they give you their email address,

then you give them some more valuable content, and within that email give them something to market, that is – you give them something to buy, and earn commissions from them.

Targeted email lists are extremely valuable.

Donald asks…

how do i get people to optin to my email marketing list?

i have a small course in my subject matter, i want to make a list of like 2-3000 people who would be interested in buying material related to my subject matter.

how can i do that.

Jere answers:

The trick is to give them a part of what they want for free, and give the other part for a fee..

You can use something like aweber or getresponse type email marketing lists.

Having said that, i cannot stress the need to give more, i mean there are only like 2 lists that i have remained subscribed to, and both of them are the emails i look forward to reading, because they give so so much more.
