Your Questions About Email Marketing Reviews

Sandra asks…
What have you done to my email?
The new changes have SERIOUS bugs!!! And work erratically doing things like deletions and moves! Also the sync/targeting point of the mouse on the action buttons is WAY off causing most of this!!!
DO YOU EVEN HAVE CREDIBLE CODER VALIDATION REVIEW PRIOR TO LIVE PRODUCT POSTING? I’m appalled at your guile.
Arthur – What a politically contrived answer devised for your own gain, and pulled from your archive at that. Like what we do or bug off? How does that support Yahoo as a positive contributing member?

Jere answers:
Sounds like you’re in the market for a new email provider. I’m told that Inbox.com looks and works like Yahoo Classic. If you don’t like that one there are a dozen more you can try. You’re bound to like one more than you like the new Yahoo mail.

Once you’ve selected a new email provider you’ll need to move all your emails, contacts, and other data. The following article may be of assistance.

If you have a lot of emails to move you could use a service like YippieMove – http://www.yippiemove.com/ – to transfer your emails from one account to another.
Once you’ve done that the only thing left to do is to close your Yahoo account.

If you’re not interested in switching email providers then the articles below may help you find the piece of mind that you’re missing.
The following article let you change how you see Yahoo mail.

I’m running the new full version of Yahoo mail on an 8 year old laptop running Windows XP SP 3 with 2 gig of memory. The tips in the article above were most helpful. I installed the latest versions of Java and Adobe Flash Player and installed the latest version of Firefox, Chrome, and Safari for Windows to see which on works best on my laptop. It runs almost as fast as Yahoo Classic and I’ve had no issues yet.
If the new full-featured version of Yahoo mail isn’t for you, you should check out Yahoo Basic. Your email is displayed in page view (25 emails per page) and you have the standard First page, Next page, Previous page, and Last page controls.
Learn more about Yahoo Basic – http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&id=SLN5171&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1371527333887&locale=en_US&y=PROD_MAIL_ML

If Yahoo Basic doesn’t suit you, you could upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus and use one of the many email programs to download your email directly to your computer, thereby avoiding the new format entirely.

Email marketing- Looking for follow up email ideas?
I’m always looking for good wording, and this time for a follow up email to a prospect that had received a detailed email from me about my product and the pricing detailed, and didn’t reply.
All ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Jere answers:
The best idea so far that I have on this will depend on the price of your product. Obviously if its a high price, high value, high ticket item then it may make sense to actually schedule a physical meeting or an online meeting with software such as go to webinar or go to meeting for example. And then go over your proposal live with your customer. If at all possible in your case, this will be the best possible scenario. What I found over the years is people have all sorts of different reasons why they dont email back and why they dont call back. You can never know what type of objections they might have before you call them. This method doesnt cost that much extra but allows you to close much more deals than when you actually email them. So to recap do not send them proposal, schedule a meeting to review the proposal instead. When you review the proposal, show it to them and give it to them as well.

market analysis help?
I am finishing up my project for a marketing class just one section I cannot think of.
(My project is I created a traveling app where people traveling, their phones follow their traveling routes by gps and at any certain spot they can write a review about tush particular place ,even upload photos to share with others who are interested in traveling their same route. )
For market analysis I need to target market description include statistics indicating size of the relevant market and my expected share of the target market after 1 year? I need to use data from a secondary research to provide a vivid description of my target market? ..not sure how I can interview other people because this product does not exist so who would they know how they feel about it?? I am lost and it is due Thursday, I emailed my teacher yet still no answer .

Why Won’t My Android Market Open?
Okay, so, its been more than 5 months and I’ve still not been able to solve this problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy 551, and the android market in it, just won’t open up! :/ I’ve even tried downloadong the latest version, but it still won’t open. Every time I try to open it, a blank page appears which says loading. After waiting for an absurd amount of time it say “Retry”. What the hell am I supposed to do??!! Please help!

Jere answers:
Go to https://market.android.com/ and sign in with your email address and see if that works….many use the website more than the App as it gives you a better selection and the reviews are far better. You are able to choose the reviews with the star you’re looking for….also it remembers all the phones you ahve with the account lastly if it does not allow you the access then Market Android is letting you know that it no longer supports your system…..meaning time to update your OS

I just poseted a review on motorcycle superstore.com?
And I wasn’t happy with the helmet I recieved so I wrote a bad review and about 3 hours later it was gone! So they deleted it? They only keep good reviews?

Jere answers:
Yes, they deleted your bad reviews because of their online marketing. You can complaint to them through email and phone. So don’t try to give them a bad review they will delete them always.
