Your Questions About Email Marketing Services

Ken asks…
What is the best way to market my remailing services to Rv’ers and other travelers?
I have started a small, inexpensive remailing service for RV’ers and other travelers, which includes emailing services…what is the best (and inexpensive) way to market my services to this target market?

Jere answers:
Buy ad space on woodalls, Good sam club, Reserve America, Boondocking.com and other magazine and web page places that deal with camping and rv life.

Sandra asks…
How many people advertise their product services?
virally?
how many of you have email campaigns set up to promote your business?
how important do you think online & email marketing is to your online business?

Jere answers:
First, in case some one else wants to answer, I believe you mean virtually, as in cyber-space. I am more than apprehensive about online marketing, and with e-companies using anti-spam policies as marketing of their own, it is much more difficult to attract customers through direct e-mail. There is no reason not to and every reason to, pursue standard advertising practices for an e-business, and save up your money for a big search engine maximization campaign on the net, giving you long time virtual exposure to interested net searchers.

Charles asks…
What is the best way to market a moving and storage comapany? Get leads?
I have a moving company in central Florida, we offer very quality service. I have a lack of business and need some qualified leads, I already advertise and send emails to Realtors as well as faxes to their offices. What do you feel the best way to market my services would be?

Jere answers:
You must offer some kind of incentive to the realtors in order for them to promote your service. It could be gift cards etc. I would strongly recommend that you don’t send any faxes. Fax-spam is very annoying because it costs them paper.
Another important question is if you follow the CAN-SPAM laws in your emails. Also if you are sending your emails through a reputable email software company, whether you send HTML or Plain text emails.
If you do your email marketing the right away, you can possibly get some leads.
Another idea is to hire a freelancer to make cold calls to people who have listed their properties on real estate websites. The problem with this idea is that they will not be moving right away. You need to find people who are moving soon.

William asks…
Is there a way to get visitors to my website today?
I know the long term goals of getting good traffic to a website, but I am curious about ways to get visitors to my site today. Is using email marketing or auto/manual surf any good? What are some services/methods that deliver traffic to your site fast?

Jere answers:
If you want to get fast traffic there are numerous things you can do. Ezinearticles.com has a very high page rank. You can submit a couple articles about your website with certain keywords. You can also join twitter and follow people with similar interests (they should also follow you back) and talk about your website to them. Also, if you run a windows pc, use movie maker (if you have a mac, use iMovie) to make a short video about your site and post it onto the video sharing sites.
