Your Questions About Email Marketing Software

Daniel asks…
Email Marketing Software?
I’m looking for an email marketing software with built in mailing lists, the software would be able to inform the business if they have looked at the email, can anyone recommend some?

Jere answers:
Be very careful of email marketing software most of them will get your ip address banned or reported to authorities. There is a new law prohibiting collecting private emails, its a privacy issue.

Robert asks…
Email Marketing. Which is best? to buy software and install or use third party company?
Hello People
I just started small online business. One way of getting in touch and offer the service to my customers/ subscribers is to send them emails each week. I would like to know which is the best way for cost effective in email marketing. Is it best to buy email marketing software and install on my system or use the third party company where I would have to pay monthly.
What I see is that email marketing software range from £200+ and third party companies range from £10 for about 500 email/month.
Yet I don’t see any reason to pay monthly to get limited email sending why not buy software install and send as many as I want with no rising monthly cost.
Does anyone knows the down side of buying email marketing software compared to use third part companies.
Regards
Cyberfx

Jere answers:
I would buy software. It would definitely be a lot more reliable and more cost effective (as you are already aware of in terms of the monthly costs). The only downside I can think of software is if you use a poor program. Use a company like Vai and you should be fine. Hope this helps!

Email Marketing Software Problems..!?
I seem to be going from one extreme to the other. Started off my email marketing a few weeks ago, which basically meant emailing any one who had ever contacted me, which worked ok but I needed to reach more people or companies within the Health Care sector, so I started using this email address finding software which is good, too good in fact, I now have too many emails with out a really good sending software.
If anyone knows of such a software that will not get me blacklisted then please let me know.
I have already tried Sandblaster, Dark mailer.
Email harvester I use can ne found at www.get-email-addresses.com
Many thanks
Shazza

Jere answers:
You will definitely get blacklisted if you send any email to people you don’t know regardless of which software you use. There are ways to get around this problem, but for that you need to get help from an expert who understands how blacklists work.
