Your Questions About Email Marketing Software Reviews

Chris asks…

Traffic Generation Software?

I receive emails constantly from internet marketing entrepreneurs with claims of massive traffic generation using their software. Has anyone tried or use a software that has generated decent/ massive amount of traffic to their website, affiliate links or products. I would like reviews/ recommendations of traffic generation software, benefits.

Jere answers:

My friend tried one and got blacklisted by Google. Meaning their website was removed from Google’s directory forever, for cheating the system. Google is HUGE and they are VERY intuitive these days. You can’t cheat the system and all these email solicitations are scams. You MIGHT get a good ranking, but it will be for a month, and then you will be removed and invisible. It’s called being blacklisted.

If you need help building your rankings in an ethical and professional manner, let me know!

Steven asks…

Who thinks this a scam?

I went on a website called kijiji looking for employers. I found a job that had a title that said $14.50/hourly, Easy Job, Pefect for Part Timers?.
In the descritop i just told me I would be able to work from home. I sent the owner of the ad an email asking what the job required, and telling them I am interested. In reply I got an email which said (*I put brakets infront of the stuff I thought should not be posted online*):

Hello (my name),

Thank you for responding. Due to the current recession, companies are feeling their websites are not interacting well with regular customers. Our company simply puts average consumers as yourself on their website and you review them online. You indicate to them things an average person would like and dislike. Its a really easy job, where you work at your own pace. The only credential we stress is when you do submit a review is to make sure it is well written and not gibberish.

Here at Prestigious Online Marketing, you get paid to surf the web. We are an international agency with over 240 employees world wide. Please register with the link below. Once you have logged on with our agency you will have an online timer on the bottom right hand of your screen. The control panel will indicate which sites to visit and who to send the email to.

Because you are located in Canada, our pay periods are every second Friday. If you start today (or this week sometime) your next pay day will fall on October 31. The cheques from Canada get mailed from Montreal on the Wednesday and almost always arrive on the Friday, or the following Monday. For website reviewers starting is $14.50 hourly, you must visit at least 3 of our network websites each hour. In order to qualify for a raise, you must submit at least 15 website reviews per 4 hour shift. You will receive an email and contact numbers before your first shift indicating your team leader. You are to report only to the team leader.

To keep track of your activity online, we use ProBabySitter Online Website Tracking / Hourly Worked Software. To log in simply use the user name and password indicated below. Your employee number will be (cant post it online)

user name: (cannot post it online) pass: (sorry cant post it online)

Yes your format to be plain sucks.
Start with personal info like you did
Go to jobs, bullet point highlights and experience in 1 line thoughts
Education at bottom skip the area of study you have a BSBA period they know what is involved in getting one (I have one also)
Then include skills especially if certified and be specific MS Office takes care of at least a few that you listed. Basically skip the whole skills thing you have listed there that shows in your experience
get rid of the long list of experience most people reading have not made it past the first part of the list to read on.
Make sure you have a good cover letter

I got the same exact E-mail after applying for a job on Craigslist. I E-mailed them a couple days ago about this and never got a reply back. I’m guessing it’s a scam. 2 and a half hours for $120? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. It’s probably a spam scam. I haven’t seen anything on the internet about this, though. It’d be nice to hear from someone that actually tried this and if it actually pays.

Jere answers:

The first red flag this is a scam is $4,000 per month no experience or knowledge if it sounds too good to be true it is 2- wire transfers which is money laundering i.e. Drug money, terrorists funding, etc from customer’s accounts to your bank account. NO legitimate employer/company asks for customer funds to be wired to an employee’s bank account etc. If you are not aware you could be criminally charged for participation in this money laundering scheme. These SCAMS are numerous on Craig’s list i.e. Babysitting /personal assistant, sales etc. The next step if you respond is to ask for your bank account number which they can then wipe out the funds or wire illegal funds in and out. I personally reported several scams on Craig’s list thru their website to the authorities. In some cases just responding to the email they are able to hack into your website and steal valuable information. Just DELETE these emails.
