Your Questions About Email Marketing Tips

Mark asks…

How do I get more customers to my website? Budget Marketing Ideas?

I would like to make my website more prominent on website searches, also my business is in the early stages and needs some much needed marketing! I am on a budget so any ideas are gladly received!

Jere answers:

You can use pay per click advertising in the search engines to reach audiences looking for your products. You can use Google Adwords http://www.google.com/adwords or Yahoo http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com

Here some shoestring marketing ideas that can help you get the visitors you need at the least cost possible:

1. Create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement – if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important — and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more – that’s additional traffic that you get for FREE!

3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.

4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Here is a comprehensive list of where to submit your articles http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylt=AhzreGmnCUicOoyedqypscUjzKIX?qid=1006022407481

Google Base http://base.google.com
Classifieds for Free http://www.classifiedsforfree.com/…

How to get customers attention in a craft market stall??

Fair Veterans: What are some tips to decorate a stall to gain the most customers?

Also what are some basics I would need?? I know a gzebo tent and tables, but what else?

And any advice shared would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Jere answers:

We always make our entire backdrop and table cloth black with little decoration so that our items stand out (this is great especially if you are selling something jewelry related). A spotlight to make your product sparkle or stand out. Also two signs- one with your website or business name and one that says FREE GIFT in bright simple letters.

We give out free tote bags with our logo on it in crystals or for those that purchase over a certain amount and for the non purchasers- a small gift when they fill in a form so that we can add their name, email and address to our newsletter list.

Don’t forget something to secure your money, calculator, a way to provide a receipt, pens, business cards, LOTS of drinking water if you will be outside.

Can you offer advice about marketing my clothing line?

I plan to launch a casual clothing line soon. This is a new area for me and welcome any advice you can offer. I will begin small by offering a tee shirt line aimed at a particular target market and hope to brand my line into a lifestyle eventually, expanding into a social website, offering clothing lines for all age groups and economic levels, but back to the beginning, tee shirts with my logo and company catch phrase. I await your words of wisdom. Thank you in advance for any useful advice.

Any tips for bying a used car?

I am going to go to a dealer tomorrow to look at a Sentra with 12,500 miles and they are asking for $11,995 for it. I don’t want to pay the full price but I’ve never negotiated before. I would want to pay no more than $11,000 out-the-door. Any tips on how I can get this price?

Jere answers:

The First poster shows why he has not been able to keep a Job at any of the 4 dealerships he has worked at….if his advice shows his skills of helping customers…that tells it all.

Your best bet is to figure out what cars are going for like what you are interested in for your area.

The dealership is not going to tell you what they paid for it…and not give you a real number anyway….so go in prepared with information and research to back up whatever number you plan on giving them or paying for the car.

The market for cars like what you are interested in is very GOOD right now…and they are selling quicker than anything anyone who has been in the business for a while has ever seen….so use sites like KBB / Autotrader / Cars.com and research what is a fair price for that vehicle.

To use as a Benchmark….I have an Used 08 Nissan Sentra on my lot right now that has 19k mIles and is selling for 13,990.00 so depending on what year model the one is you are looking at will tell the tale of how much lower you can go if any on the one you are looking to buy.

Ask them to give you as much info and pricing itemized to the penny by phone and email before you step FOOT in the dealership…so that way once you do…all you have to do is sign and drive so to speak.

Good Luck!
