My suggestion is to sign up an online “mock” trading acount. Once you undestand the buy & sell mechanism and the various settlement cycle & rule, then u invest with your own $$
there are plenty of online trading website which allow u to setup a mock portfolio to learn .

If you want to make money online, you need something of value to sell. For example:
Use your real job skills to get a telecommuting job
Sell stuff on eBay
Start your own online business, and sell ads on your website or charge people money to join
These are the same ways people make money in the “real” world, just doing it over the computer.
Any promise of making money online with no required skills is a scam.

I want to start an online business making invitations for events. I won’t to be able to have someone send me an event and what they would like on the invitation. Then I would make one and send back to them. If they like it I will make as many as they want for a price. How can I get started. Thanks for your help.

There are several things needed to be done.
You would need a website and a merchant account to start the process. The website should include an individual domain name and hosting which will cost money. However, it is worth having your own domain name because the search engine spiders will index it. An easy to get merchant account can be located at Paypal.com, Google.com, Amazon.com, and Yahoo.com. An idea is to get involved with Geocities.com’s Website Hosting Starter due to a lot of features needed by a new business.
Search engine submission is an important part of getting known. However, it needs to be done after your web page is completed along with the meta tags.
It is always an idea to have a voluntary newsletter or blog. The blog will keep people coming to your website to find out the latest deals or stories. It could be sharing your wisdom about the products in the store, but the ideas are endless for topics really. If done right, it can enhance credibility which will attract repeat customers.

I’m referring to such tasks as maintaining the business by making sure that all bills and fees are organized and paid, process incoming and outgoing product orders, handling customer service, site maintenance, etc.

As a online business owner my self I can tell you what i do, as you need to make sure every task in the business is taken care of, and is getting done on time, the problem is if you need to be busy with that everyday it takes away all your time, and you can be busy just with that all day long.
What we do, is start the process right, meaning we use managing tools that keep track of everything we do or outsource, so we can use our minds for better stuff and not worry for the process and procedures to get done.
Every time a new task comes up I will enter it into the system and the rest is history, it will remind me and keep track of anything and everything I or my team needs to do, I will also see the status of the task if its due, done, or any other stats needed, so you get your daily tasks from the system itself.
Its not hard to set up at all. You can find many free tools for starters, I can share the one I use and are happy with, see the link below.

How difficult is it to start a business overseas?
I have a business idea that could be a big market in Europe but I am based in the U.S. I would love to start an online business and ship things out from here. The language is not a problem as the website can be in several languages. How difficult is it do this? Or rather, can someone give me detailed directions or suggestions as to what I should research before I even begin this mammoth task.
