What Merchant Credit Card Processing Services Do I Need To Accept Payments Online?
I’m starting an internet business and will need to accept credit card payments. Should I use something like paypal or should I just get my own merchant account and payment gateway? From my initial testing, my sales look very promising and I’m expecting a lot of business.

Jere answers:
Hi. I had the same decision to make when I was starting my online business so I know what problems you are facing.
At first I used paypal, but then my sales were increasing very quickly and I knew I needed to switch to a merchant account/payment gateway setup to handle the larger volume.
I came across this website, http://www.electronictransferservice.com and they really helped me learn a lot. There’s plenty of information on their pages and I discovered so much about how all this works with processing credit cards. Their FAQ section is definitely worth a look.
I’m not recommending you sign up with them in anyway, but I did contact them and was able to get all my questions about merchant credit card processing answered from a real live person. That was pretty cool.
I eventually went with a different company, but at least I was armed with much more knowledge than when I first started.
I’m thankful to say that my business and sales have been doing well and making the switch was, to me, a good choice. You’ll have to determine for yourself if and when you will make the switch.
One thing though, if your volume of sales is not enough to cover the costs of processing fees, then I would go with paypal and just wait till it does.
Hope that helps and good luck!

How do you guys feel about internet- and affiliate marketing courses?
If you could get a course that provide everything you need to start your own internet business, and never pay for other products again, will you go for it, and what are you willing to pay for a real good product that will influence the rest of your life?

Jere answers:
Basically, affiliate marketing it is the kind of marketing where you market the products of other people and they pay you commissions for your work. As long as you can sell the products of the sellers, you will be able to earn good money. There are plenty of sellers out there who are selling products online and they pay up to 75% commission to those people who can help them sell their products.
The percentage of commission offered by different sellers is different. Plenty of people are earning good money with affiliate marketing and you can earn a lot of money too. However, I am not trying to say that everyone is making a lot of money with affiliate marketing. Many affiliate marketers are trying their best to make sales but they are unable to because they do not know how they can go about marketing the products in the right way so that they can make sales.
Before you start off with affiliate marketing, you will need to find out as much information about it as possible so that you will know how you can go about making sales. Until and unless you know the tricks on affiliate marketing, it will not be possible for you to sell the products.
Dear Nabreska, i started my affiliate marketing carrier with joining Money Making Online club. Inside i found huge variety of information that provide everything you need for making money online. Honestly i never wasn’t sorry for joining this club.

What is a good method to selling shoes that I am getting for wholesale?
I am currently working at this shoe warehouse were I am able to get these products for wholesale. Most individuals use this discount for personal purchases but I am looking to sale for a profit. I need to find a way to get the word out and make a few ends! any ideas, internet, business cards, retail? Help

Jere answers:
As we know that a warehouse is a commercial building for storage of goods. Warehouses are used by manufacturers, importers, exporters, wholesalers, transport businesses, customs, etc. They are usually large plain buildings in industrial areas of cities and towns and villages.
They usually have loading docks to load and unload goods from trucks. Sometimes warehouses are designed for the loading and unloading of goods directly from railways, airports, or seaports. They often have cranes and forklifts for moving goods, which are usually placed on ISO standard pallets loaded into pallet racks. Stored goods can include any raw materials, packing materials, spare parts, components, or finished goods associated with agriculture, manufacturing and production.

In California, Where do I start to get a wholesale license, and is there any other licenses I need?
I am interested in starting an internet business for pet supplies. I dont really even know where to start. Are there other lisences I need for an internet business in California other than a wholesale lisence?

Jere answers:
There is no such thing as a wholesale license. What you are thinking of is called a resale license & it is from the state franchise tax board. This allows you to buy wholesale which is strictly defined without sales tax because YOU collect the sales tax from your buyers & send to the tax board. This license (plus a business license) allows buying at a “wholesale” price (which depends on many things) which you can “mark up” which then becomes “retail.” In some instances the “wholesale cost is only a few %’s less than retail (but again, No sales tax). In other instances it can be more. Often the larger the order (buying in bulk) makes the % greater. You would need to start a business account/agreement with a supplier in order to buy from them to re-sell, This may require a business credit card or checking account. Do not forget that you need to also factor in shipping & packing costs. You may find that you can not compete with places like PetCo.
