Your Questions About Internet Business Phone Service

Paul asks…
Whats the cheapest and/or best internet phone service like Magicjack?
I’m needing a phone for my very small computer repair business. I don’t have a lot of customers, so I think an internet VIP phone would suit my needs, and my wallet. Are there any services that are like MagicJack that can be hooked into the internet router without the need of a computer? I would go with magic jack, but I would like something I don’t have to have my computer on 24/7 to use. If not, then list the best VIP services, and why.
Thanks,
Will

Jere answers:
No lender will talk to you unless you provide them with a valid business plan. Go to http://www.sba.gov , http://www.score.org or http://www.bplan.com for sample business plans and instructions on how to write a business plan.
Then, go to http://www.score.org/ and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to review your business plan and discuss various loan options available to you.
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors.

Linda asks…
What is the BEST cell phone service for a small business?
So I’m starting a home business & it’s going to require using my phone quite a bit! I currently have service for my personal cellphone with Sprint, but I’d like to get another phone (or line) for a “strictly business” line; mainly for organization but also to keep things straight when it comes to tax time. I don’t use a land line at this point because I live with a roommate.
Anyway, I live in California, but more than likely I’ll be working with people out of state as well. I’ve been with most of the major carriers over the years for personal use (T-Mobile, Verizon, now Sprint) but I want to know what is the BEST suggestion to use as a business line. I need a plan/service that works well all over the country (or @ least in a majority of places), don’t really need anything for texting, internet service would be great as well, clear calls, fast upload/ downloading…
