Briefly I would say you offer your products and services on the internet through your website, consider it as your workshop office eshop etc.
Now you need to drive relevant traffic to your website so that you can earn profits. To drive the traffic you use the principles of internet marketing which is divided in different branches which all are connected to each other.
The main focus of internet marketing is to promote your website through search engines because search engines drives the traffic to your website which is already looking for you the process of internet marketing through search engine is known as SEO.
