Your Questions About Internet Business Promoter

Linda asks…

Why can’t record companies see that their business model is flawed and fading?

Very recently Madonna and RadioHead who are now free from their contracts turned the music distribution tables on their heads when Madonna announced she had signed a contract with a promoter, not a record company and RadioHead is making its music avaiable on the internet for as little as 2 cents per song.

It’s like…Duh, we don’t need record companies any more. I knew this a long time ago.

Jere answers:

I haven’t listened to music on commericial radio or from a record company in over 3 years.

All of my music wants and needs are met by the iNet and soon all of my multimedia wants and needs will follow.

And everything I get from the iNet is totally free and legal!!!

I am interested to get involved in the photo modelling industry either as a models scout or an online PR?

Hi,
I am 33 year old bright, entrepreneurial-orientated as well as ever positive, success-determined guy coming from a rich sales and events hosting background who has always been passionate about naturally gifted beautiful women thus now striving to reach such a business opportunity of being actively involved within the fields of beauty, fashion and/or photomodelling whereby I could liaise with stunning women and enjoy a rewarding income out of it at the same time.

In addition to the above mentioned, I have 3 thoughts in my mind:

1) working as a models scout who earns a handsome commission

2) models party organiser

3) setting up my own online/internet business connected with beauty, fashion and photomodelling

Now, this ad post I would like to direct to experienced models, photographers, models scouts, models party promoters or really to anybody else connected with these industries in this way or another, who might be happy to friendly advise me on what to do.

I want to set the record straight with the wrestling section?

Its not the WWE itself that makes me hate the company (though i’m not a big fan of the product and I think they could do much better) its the FANS that make me hate it. I know that sounds kind of dumb, but I simply cannot tolerate the way the WWE fans act. MOST of them act like fanboys/fangirls and act like cult followers to a cult. Bashing TNA and its product for simply no reason other than its in the same business and had the sack to call WWE out. Its not just this section either, its all over the internet. Try going to the TNA facebook page sometime, its INFESTED with WWE fanboys bashing the holy hell out of the company. Why not stick to the WWE facebook page? whats the point of mindless bashing? what does it solve? Does it make WWE or TNA any better? does it make the fans lives better? the answer is NO to all the above. My point is, if your a “company fan”, than that’s fine, but you don’t have to sit there and relentlessly bash what I love just b/c you don’t share the same view. Its petty and immature. And yes, SOME TNA fans ARE guilty of bashing too. But when all we here is “TNA sucks” and “TNA is gonna die” and “TNA is nothing but WWE rejects” and stupid crap of that sort, what are we suppose to do? just sit there and take it? if all you WWE fans heard was how much WWE sucks on a constant basis, especially on monday and friday nights (I say that b/c Thursday nights WWE fans come out in droves just to bash TNA) wouldn’t you get tired of it?

Bottomline: People seem to really have lost their sense of respect for one another, and the internet hasn’t helped much. As a matter of fact, I DID want to be a wrestling promoter in the indies, that was my DREAM. But after experiencing the IWC and seeing how jaded the fans really are and how they nitpick everything, why in the hell would I even want to be a promoter? IMO, the internet truly has killed wrestling. Not the fall of WCW, not Vince McMahon, the internet. The element of suprise is gone from it and the fans all of a sudden feel like they are “experts” on the wrestling business. You know what a big part of wrestling being successful in the 90’s was? the fans didn’t nitpick every little thing and appreciated what was put out, and the element of suprise was still there b/c spoiler sites didnt ruin it. It wasn’t just innovative storylines and concepts like people claim.

ok, my rant is done. If you can manage not to be a jackhole and answer with respect, it would be appreciated.

Jere answers:

The WWE fanboys have soured me on the WWE, too. But so has the hand-holding by the WWE “writers”, spelling out every single step of every single storyline, repeating things over and over and over using very small words lest we miss something and completely not “get” what the whole juvenile storyline was about in the first place. The generic dumbed-down punching and kicking Vince promotes as “sports entertainment” has contributed, as well. Making a commentator the top heel in the company is another factor.

“TNA sucks”. “TNA is gonna die (any minute)”. “TNA NEVER pushes anybody but old WWE rejects”. Comments like these, and others in the same vein, are coming from the immature WWE fanboys who are VERY threatened by TNA’s existence. They have bought into Vince’s propaganda and are guzzling Vince’s kool-aid, and have been conditioned to believe that Vince is king of the “good” island (his little fantasy world he calls the “WWE universe”) and every other promotion are the “bad” invaders out to destroy the “good” WWE.

Those WWE fanboys believe TNA is equal to the WWE (or they wouldn’t spend so much time and effort talking about it) and that scares the hell out of them. They had several years of just the WWE and only the WWE, meaning they got used to just one TV wrestling company. But TNA rose rapidly into prime time and monthly PPVs and the fanboys see that as a major threat. In their minds, because of Vince’s propaganda and conditioning, there can be only one TV wrestling company. Because TNA managed to get into prime time and remain there, the fanboys are scared to death that TNA will put the WWE out of business. Especially now that Bischoff and Hogan are in charge of TNA. They nearly put Vince and the WWF out of business in the late 90’s; they’re scared that this time they might succeed.

So they spend ridiculous amounts of time and energy trying to convince THEMSELVES that TNA actually does “suck” and will die any minute now. You don’t see TNA fans running around frantic, scared to death that the WWE will put TNA out of business like you see WWE fans do. TNA fans aren’t threatened by the WWE or it’s existence.

Yeah, the internet makes Roddy Pipers of us all. We’re all anonymous and can say anything we want because nobody knows who we are, and the only possible consequence is having a question or answer deleted.

The internet DID ruin pro wrestling and being a real fan. Spoiler/rumor sites have made it possible to know pretty much everything the business wants us to know without ever watching a single episode of any promotion’s TV show. Because of those damn sites, every 14-year-old who can type thinks he/she can do a better job than the pro’s, and believe they have the right to rip apart a promotion or a performer just because that promotion or performer didn’t do what that fan wanted. It’s even more…irritating…when they do this without knowing (but using) what even basic wrestling “insider” terms like “push”, “get over”, and “bury” mean. They get on every forum they can find and just whine and complain about every damn thing that goes on in the wrestling business. It’s tedious, tiresome, and shows a complete lack of respect for the performers. The IWC doesn’t WANT to be surprised; they want to know everything that’s going to happen BEFORE it happens so they can have their sneers on and keyboards at the ready when the show airs.

Being a wrestling fan was/is a whole lot better without the internet.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
This company operates what is called a work at home scheme. We suggest you listen carefully to the entire report to understand what this promotion is. It is important to know that almost all work at home schemes end up with complaints even though they may have none when they first start. They usually go out of business or face government action. Most work at home schemes involve stuffing envelopes, mailing circulars, or sending for information packets from a list of addresses. The promoter may tell you that it is all ‘legitimate’ or ‘approved by the Post Office.’ It is not! The promoter may claim you can earn lots of money working from home. They may also state that, due to an increase in the use of home computers and the Internet, this is a ‘home based business opportunity.’ If it involves stuffing envelopes or mailing circulars, it is a work at home scheme and you will lose your money. No real employer would pay you to sit at home and do these jobs in this era of high tech mass mailing. Since this BBB was founded in 1921, we have never seen any consumer make money at this unless they were running the scheme. You should know that US Postal Inspectors investigate and prosecute people involved in these promotions and you could find yourself the subject of criminal action for mail fraud.

Donald asks…

Should there be a stop to all dog/cat breeding in America?

HSUS is the ‘Humane Society of the United States.’ It is supported mainly by small donations from millions of Americans because it has been almost 100% successful at selling itself as ‘for the animals.’ However, it’s more accurately thought of as a business that provides the animal rights movement with the service of squeezing rights to use animals, than as an organization that helps animals.

HSUS is not connected with any animal shelters or direct animal welfare activities. Of top 12 HSUS Animal Stories of 2005 (grey wolves, abused tigers, pet cloning, Internet hunting, dove hunts, animal fighting, seal hunts, laying hens, trophy hunting, the HSUS-Fund For Animals merger, Katrina relief and horse slaughter), only hurricane relief had to do with helping Fido or Fluffy as promoted in their materials.

HSUS is devoted to making animal use (including pet ownership) steadily more difficult and expensive. Its main actions divide into: (a) Promoting laws to restrict use/ownership, (b) propaganda in support of such laws, and (c) fundraising/self-promotional actions. You will look in vain for an HSUS action that makes animal use or pet ownership easier, more common, more fun, or more successful.

Specific campaigns include anti-hunting, anti-meat farming and meat eating (the organization’s headquarters forbids animal products), anti-pet breeding (it was the chief promoter of the so-called ‘Pet Animal Welfare Statute’ or PAWS), anti-circus/rodeo, and anti-animal use medical and other research. So is this a good thing or bad thing for America? Life without pets?

Jere answers:

I believe, for the time being, that all breeding should be stopped with the exception of a very few, select kennels and catteries to keep purebred bloodlines going. Every year millions of healthy, sweet, beautiful animals (including purebreds) are killed because of pet overpopulation. That number doesn’t include ferals and strays who never make it to a shelter. It would take us years of spaying/neutering religiously before we could get the populations down to a manageable number and need to start breeding again. Aside from stopping unnecessary deaths, getting the populations down would aid in keeping animals out of the wrong hands. With classified ads brimming with free puppy/kitten offers, it’s too easy for people to obtain animals for the sake of exploiting them. Unfortunately, there are too many irresponsible pet owners to put everyone on their honor and I think a mandated law to light a fire under them would work.

I don’t support PETA and other animal rights organizations because I see them as radicals who do more to harm animals than to help them. I don’t believe my pets have rights. I have the right to provide proper care for them and to protect them from harm. The notion that domesticated animals should be allowed freedom is ludicrous. It is sad that organizations such as these pull on people’s heartstrings for the purpose of lining their pockets. This is why I choose to do my own thing when it comes to animal welfare. I promote spay/neuter, educate on declawing and proper nutrition, and I rescue as many animals as I can. If everyone would do their part, we could go a long way ourselves.

As for the anti-hunting campaigns, what do they think would happen when they started allowing cats and dogs to roam and breed freely? They would become classified as varmints and a hunting season would be established for them to control populations, the same as with raccoons, rabbits, and coyotes. Industry and poachers, etc have managed to kill off larger predatory animals to the extent that hunting is now necessary in order to keep populations down so inbreeding and disease doesn’t kill off the species.

FB, I gave you a TU. You’re exactly right. Some people should not have pets but with them being so readily available, anyone can obtain them and the animals end up suffering. I would love to see things get to the point people would have to take a competency test before being allowed the privilege of owning a pet.
