Jere answers:
Buying the shelf products is less expensive than going to symantic for their good stuff and depending on your needs & the size of your business it may be adequate but if you are liable for others imfo. As well as your own you may find it prudent to give them a call to find cost & advantages of some of their more advanced software.

Daniel asks…
Who is a good business broadband provider in the UK?
My father lives in the UK and his current internet solution is garbage (well at least thats what he says).
We are looking for the best broadband provider in the UK. Do you have any suggestions? We need to make sure there are no outages and we can rely on it. Our business basically relies on the internet so we need quality.
Let me know! Thanks muah xoxo

Jere answers:
Hi Suzette. Based on my experience, Tetrabyte has provided excellent quality business broadband for my local business. I recommend you to check them out http://www.tetrabyte.com/uk-business-it-support-services-uk/unlimited-business-broadband/
I have been with them for about 5 years now. No complaints. There was a bit of downtime during a storm, but it could have been related to power lines as well.
Let me know if you need any more advice! By the way, your very pretty 😛

I own a small business who only deals with customers on phone and internet, I want help with payment systems if i want to have someone sort of payment solution/system where my customers can make payments to me anytime of the day using there bank /credit cards? Where do I go and search..Anyone can help me with this?

Jere answers:
Paypal, click2sell, payforit, linkpoint or alertpay. For prompt payment, ensure you automate billing/invoice. Paypal is too big to for most small businesses, and their dispute resolution is almost worthless.

Donna asks…
Dumb terminals solutions, for small business?
I want to start a small internet cafe..I am looking into getting some computer systems, I realized it will be alot cheaper to user dumb terminals. So I was wondering if there is anything other than N-computin?
If i use a server setup, what device must I use to connect the monitor, keyboard and mouse to my server?

Jere answers:
It sounds like your technical skills aren’t that strong, so this may not be the best business for you unless you plan to hire out the technical side of it.
As far as the n-computing stuff, the “L” series is probably what you want. Basically its a box with ports for the keyboard, mouse and monitor, then it networks back to the server.
Don’t think for a second though that you can buy a dozen of these boxes and expect to use some $500 desktop as the “server”, you will be severely disappointed with the performance, although using these types of devices will generally have much lower cost and overhead than a dozen computers.
Your best bet is to partner up with someone that has this type of experience.
