How can I make a career out of internet marketing?
I’d really like to be able to work from home. Is it possible to make a career change and sucessfully support myself with internet marketing? How do I start? I’ve completed some college, but did not graduate.

In my opinion, the best way to learn about internet marketing is to just do it.
Try building a website and driving traffic to it. Try creating some online ads on Google Adwords or LaunchBit. Follow top blogs on internet marketing and read as much as you can. Sign up for marketing newsletters and tips. You can also open up an affiliate account on Commission Junction and practice making affiliate sales.

What area should I start working on in Internet Marketing?
I am 24. I play guitars (advanced) and the piano. I am good at programming and puzzle solving. I am pretty much everything a perfect computer geek needs to be. I am planning to start off a company before which I will need to get a feel of how marketing works on the internet. I would like to create niche blogs but I don’t see where I should start and what topic would be ideal for me. Could you suggest a way for me to get things going.

Surely there are lots of ways on how to start internet marketing. You can start having your own free-hosted blog and write worthwhile contents that you know. You may start exchanging links with other bloggers and link partners. You may also do bookmarking and join internet marketing communities. Be able to know good ways to spread your blogs throughout the web.

What are the biggest mistakes that newbies to Internet Marketing make?
When a newcomer to promoting a web business or starting a work at home business online begins this venture what are the most common mistakes they make? This would include any business that involves internet marketing but especially the work from home income opportunity type.

The failure to modify, and test.
You MUST, and I do mean MUST… Test your strategies, looking at the results, and then make modifications again and test again.
Also, most people come into the business with the theory, I’m going to start making $10,000 this month. Unless they have a huge budget to start with, it’s not going to happen.
Internet marketing is a game of education, practice, testing, and as my fiancee tells me “Try and Try Until Success”.
I spend a fair amount of money on education every month, simply because I don’t want to learn all of it by trial and error.
But even with everything I’ve learned, I still test, and test, and test.. And try new things, and change that, and keep on keeping on..

Im a BBA student planning to get my MBA in the future. I love Marketing, especially internet marketing. What should I do if I want to pursue a career in internet marketing? I feel like I have enough raw knowledge now to be a seo consultant or something similar now..but I don’t know how to go about actually getting started in such a career path. what should I do?

What is sufficient and comprehensive enough in a Internet Marketing Package?
I’m in the midst of creating a NICHE, informative, cheap and practical internet marketing package. It includes, how to create your own products, website creation, become master affiliate marketers, proven traffic generation tools, SEO tips, make real money online, etc…
My question is how much would you pay for such a comprehensive package ? BTW also give me your comments on what else should be included in the package and I’ll see to it.

A little late for the NICHE. I’m not trying to rain on your parade.
Appreciate my candor. There are so many available now, your first hurdle is ranking up there for visibility. But before you do so, do some more homework on competitive price / service analysis; stand alone packages, and various bundled versions of complimenting tools.
A great way is to create your blog, the most effective medium to gain some trust first, definitely an RSS from your site with meaningful tips to drive traffic to your services.
