Your Questions About The Real Biz

Ruth asks…
Where can I find resources in order to become an entrepeneur?
I would like to start my own business. Anybody knows where I can find the best literature for this project? Like for example, which are the best magazines, books, websites on ideas and startup steps? I have heard of Entrepeneur and Small Biz Magazines, are there any others? That don’t only focus on franchises?

Helen asks…
How can I start my business the right way?
I’m planning on starting a business selling fish and other pets, but mainly fish,(salt water and fresh water) Between now and than I will do as much learning and research as possible. Can someone lead me in the right direction? As far as licensing (what kind and where to go for them) anything I need to know to open up a fish store:) I want to sell some animals also just to assure enough money flow to take care of overhead and myself. Please somebody help me out with info on starting the biz and any advice would be greatly appriated!
Also how to write a biz plan not for a loan, but for my own personal plan for the business. Thanks

Jere answers:
I’ll break it down for you.
1. Write your business plan. (http://www.ehow.com/how_2049333_write-small-business-plan.html)
2. Find a shop close in a populated area. (An ideal location would be isolated from any competition).
3. Become a real business by going down to city hall for the papers to establish a business.
4. Fish store serves only a slice of the market. I advise you to sell some dog, cat, lizard, fish food along with some other pet goods like cages, tanks, decorations for fish tanks. Of course, start small.
5. To get fish, find fish dealers, just Google them, it’s that easy. Here, I found you a link: http://www.blueridgekoi.com/
6. Consider who you will employ. Try to get family or friends to volunteer for a month or two, so you can inject that money into the business.
7. Advertise

Nancy asks…
What is the difference between “spot trade” and “scalping”?
I have been reading the basics of forex. And now I am looking for a trading method that would fit my tight schedule.
I know I can search online for the answers but learning them from real traders will inspire me a lot!
Thanks!

Jere answers:
Spot trades are the opposite of futures contracts, which usually expire well before any physical delivery.
Scalping is a method of trading. The primary objective in scalping to grab very small amounts of pips QUICKLY as many times as they can throughout the busiest times of the day.
If you don’t have much time on your hands, scalping probably won’t be a good trading method. It requires that you be glued to your charts and be quick in pulling the trigger.
