i am trying to search for a carer working from home. dont know where to start. i saw a website marketing businesses for sale. one of which was an internet business. dont know if there is a reliable site that i can find similar businesse on and how to check how successful they are how likely are they to be profitable

The only time investment is ten minutes twice per week now that I have everything all set up fine and nice.

would have been like if we only had three computers, as we did in

World Poetry Movement In Question – Legit or Just Another Clever Marketing Scam?

Wow – I am a semi-finalist! My poem was entered into a contest and I could gain critical acclaim. I can pay to have my poem published. And I can pay to come to a convention and mingle with other poets and just throw my money away – right into the hands of World Poetry Movement.

Yes, I am a little cynical about WPM. The online reviews for World Poetry Movement are quite unfavorable. Looks like they don’t use a legitimate publisher. The book is not offered in real bookstores, only online (you can sell anything online). The website does not contain info on the owner or visionary of the organization. The only contact information provided is an email address. I emailed the address provided (customer service?) and have yet to receive a response to my questions. There seems to be too much internet traffic about this organization being a scam. Why so many haters? Could the haters really be whistle blowers?

So my question to you all, is WPM legit or just another clever marketing scheme? Does being published by a class B or class C publisher carry any weight? Should you pay to publish your own book? I was selected as a semi-finalist – because my poem was distinguishable. Shouldn’t WPM give me a book for the priveledge of publishing my poem? Why do I have to buy the book, if they are using my work?

I just don’t get the warm and fuzzies about WPM and what they are about. It feels shady…I believe World Poetry Movement is a cleverly designed marketing scam. Your thoughts?

Why am i not getting a call back from Vector Marketing? A rumored scam / rip off job opportunity?

I have completed 17 years of education consisting of an MBA program and a Bachelors in cost acvounting. I still dont have much work experience but, the job i applied for today was for a company named Vector Marketing affiliated with Cutco. I had gone through every interview process along with high school and college students for a summer job opening. The main representative there had all called every individual in seperately and spoke to them. She told me that she will review with the management and I should receive a email If i get the job , By tonight. I have still not received a mail regarding it. Did I get rejected from a company that is known to recruit almost every candidate that applies? and why? i needed the job, I couldve made something out of it. I had much more professionalism than most if not all the other candidates who were still in the process of completing the their academics. I also did more research of the company ahead of time. I am moving my business of selling mini ATV’s to also include online purchasing for my customers, and I would like to accept credit cards. So ya I just got a ticket on labor day for speeding. I live in san diego and unsure about what to do with out-of-state tickets. The officer was cool to jot me down speeding over 5mph in residential/business zone. How can I file a complaint against a 24-Hour business that has extremely noisy customers overnight?

I live directly on the other side of the block of a 24-Hour Mexican Restaurant. And I can safely say that at least half of my nights living here have been with interrupted sleep multiple times the same night. I’ve been here 11 months and have been quietly puttin up with this since day 1. Now my major problem is that i have a newborn girl who keeps getting startled awake by their noisy customers. Moving is not an option because I live with other people and I ended up with the room closest to the noise.

They are approx. 30ft from my window. Being a 24 hour restaurant, they attract a lot of trash.
Trash that shows up after all the Bars Cut Off drinks. (2am especially Fridays and Saturdays)
Trash that honks their horn at 4 am.
Drunk ppl who are always shouting and screaming in the parking lot and even some who have their car stereo and subwoofer blasting Banda music the whole time they’re in the drive thru ( and the food service is slow to make things worse)
One drunken genius even crashed into the steel dumpster in the quiet of the night (which made everyone jump awake thinking something exploded), hit the curb in the parking lot and half drove off the sidewalk into the street. 3 very loud startling noises by the same person.

Who can i complain to? I want to start filing a complaint for everytime they make unbearable noise. I can’t call 911 cuz it’s not an emergency. This restaurant is trash so the BBB wont matter. Any easy options? like an online one?

Since I failed both semesters of Geometry H, I had to take integrated math 2 my junior year, but I plan on taking alg 2 online over the summer since I don’t have time to go to CC because of my involvement at my parent’s business. I plan on taking IB H english all four years and receiving an IB certificate in that, but that’s about it. I’ve had 3 years of foreign language. Two years of non honors lab science and hopefully 3 years of math, only one that was honors I completely bombed. However I plan on making up all the classes I got an F or D in online over the summer, but if I end highschool with a 3.0 gpa and an 1850+ on the SAT with the IB certificate, is there any shot I can still get into SDSU or Cal poly SLO for the fall semester in 2012. I am looking into doing some email marketing for my business. My list of emails is relatively small at the moment and these are made up of existing customers and enquires etc. I have tried searching at Google, sorry Yahoo and going through website after website to get emails but it is taking ages.
My web designer gave me some software to help but it is so complicated that I am still no further on.

MANILA, Oct 21 – The Philippines on Wednesday issued rules to implement a new law to allow the creation of tax-free personal retirement plans that will see funds flow into the domestic debt and stock markets.

Similar to the 401K plan in the United States, the Personal Equity Retirement Account provides tax incentives for long-term savings channeled into local financial instruments.

“The PERA law provides an organised framework for cultivating retail savings and offering the means to transform the resource of saving into the opportunities of long term investment,” central bank governor Amando Tetangco said in a speech.

The law allows a maximum annual contribution to tax-free savings accounts of 100,000 pesos per individual and double that amount for Filipinos working overseas.

Funds invested into PERA may be placed in a host of local financial instruments, including stocks, bonds and mutual funds.

Fund managers said they were waiting to see the details of the rules, which will be published this week, and it was too early to say how much this scheme would impact the stock and debt markets. The law will take effect immediately after the rules are published.

Nestor Espenilla, central bank deputy governor, told reporters it was hard to gauge how much funds would actually flow into the capital market, but the potential was huge.

“The total deposit base of the banking system is already in the order of around 5 trillion pesos,” he said.

“Of course only a portion of that could be re-directed towards long-term but we are after those outside the system, those who have not been saving before, especially OFW money,” Espenilla said.

More than a tenth of the country’s 92 million people live and work abroad. Last year they sent a total $16.4 billion pesos to their families and the amount is expected to climb 4 percent this year, based on central bank estimates.

Idea 4. I like this idea a lot. The last idea is a website where users who sign up for free can submit their origninal songs (that they must have rights to). Other users can listen, rate, comment, and share songs with friends. Submitted songs can be entered into the top 10 list by having the most hits and best rates. Users can also friend eachother and chat in a chat room. Say a user submits a new song, he can choose the option to have all of his friends notified about the song. So basically the site is an online community where users can listen to new music, share, comment, post original songs for feedback, and communicate with other members. The site would be free to use, but I would make money from ads. I am getting a quote from a web design firm right now, but I would probably be paying 5-10k for this site to get up and running. Anyone got experience dealing with marketing job scams?

I applied for a job and got call back straight away the next day asking me to come for an interview, the job seemed to be too good to be true.

Clearly it is as after doing further research and speaking to a few people I’ve learnt it’s basically an over glamorised door to door job, on commision. May 10] British Sky Broadcasting (Sky) said Wednesday it had agreed to buy Sports Internet Group plc in an all-share deal that values the company at over £300 million ($460 million).
Shareholding directors of Sports Internet have given irrevocable undertakings to accept Sky’s offer, ensuring that Sky can acquire at least 51.5 per cent of the share capital, giving it control of the company.

ive just started an ebay shop and am trying to get the email marketing feature working. The welcome to my newsletter one in particular. im trying to set it so that when someone signs up to my newsletter they automatically get an email saying welcome etc. so i went in to the email marketing create new email select the mailing list and the welcome template. it says its in the pending and the sent list but one hasnt been sent its just a dotted line. I have built a couple of connections in China and the person I know owns a factory in suburban Beijing. The factory manufactures backpacks, hand bags, and other accessories. I live in the U.S. and want to start my own home business online.

My understanding is that it is a major advantage to be able to offer customized products specified by my client, namely, customer provides the design so that the factory can manufacture accordingly. They, of course, make pre-designed products as well. My role is basically a business agent or representative in the U.S. and make money by selling those products. Another major advantage of this business idea lies in my direct connection with the manufacturer therefore I can get factory price without middleman (well I am the middleman).

Now my question is: how do I put this idea online? In other words, is there an Internet website that allows me to build online stores and sell my products? eBay and Amazon pop into my head in the first place but most of these online sellers are B2C. Although I do not mind at all to start it this way but my objective is to do business with suppliers or manufacturers in the U.S. (or other countries). I did a little research on alibaba.com, a Chinese B2B website and would like to know if there is such a web service in the U.S.?

I might not have the time to build my own website,not to mention maintaining it as I have a full time job that I do not want to forfeit. But if you by chance know a way to do it with ease and you think it is a must to have my own website, please share your justifications. Thank you.

Best country/language for doing business in the future?

Everyone now is saying “China, China, China, China, China!” But researching online has given me other results. According to the Ease of Doing Business Index, China has a rather low ranking! And other sites also suggest that places like Singapore and Hong Kong are the best. It’s weird because if you go to any site that has people put in their viewpoints (like Yahoo answers, forums, etc) the majority say China is the best! So I’m just wondering: Why does everyone say China is good for business? Is it actually? By the way, I’m half Chinese and half American and know Chinese pretty fluently. It would be AWESOME to do business between foreign countries (especially China: also, it’s so fun there! So much to do! Especially in my Chinese mom’s native town of Shanghai!!). I mean if I did business I would do it in China anyway because I speak the language well, but I’m just wondering about how good it would be to to business there. A side note: I’m learning French (school) and like it a lot; I will be continuing it throughout college and will hopefully be pretty fluent eventually. It’s all happened in such an unusual way. Me and her lived in different countries, she’s was in Singapore. Once she gets added to my msn out of NOWHERE, mark my words, NOWHERE. Neither did SHE add me nor did I. It was rly awkward. I was 13 at that time. So we started talking to each other, talking abt each other’s countries. 2 yrs passed and we became chat friends. After that we just stopped talking for one yr cuz idk. Tho i had started to like her then. Suddenly we came to know my dad got his business shifted to Singapore, so we had to move with him. Since then she’s on a one year vacation in Singapore, with me and we had a one year PERFECT relationship. 3: there are other icons I can click on them too, like contact IRS, About IRS, Individuals, Business, and so on, but the page stays the same, still not leaving the refund form page.

This is the total sum of all my work in high school. No matter how hard I tried, these are the best grades I can offer. Next semester, I will get all A’s, mark my words. So…do you think i have what it takes. I know SAT’s aren’t as important as grades and my SAT score is good. I just don’t know if it will balance out my grades. So hit me with it. The TRUTH. Do I have a chance at the highly selective UCLA or Berkeley?

P.S. I am NOT interested in going to a community college and transferring. I just worked too hard throughout high school for something like that. Despite what my grades reveal, I honestly did my best and studied as hard as I could. I’d rather go to a private somewhere. Just NOT a community college, or even a state school, like San Jose State.

Thieves ripped two full-size blue mail-collection boxes out of the concrete in Hemet and Menifee this month and stole all the mail inside, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service says.

The agency is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest or conviction, Postal Inspector Renee Focht said. It is also accepting complaints from anyone who believes their mail was stolen.

The first collection box was taken April 5 from the Village West Shopping Center at Florida and Sanderson avenues in Hemet. It was taken sometime between the last pick-up at 5:15 p.m. and when it was reported missing at 3 p.m. the next day, according to a news release.

The empty, damaged mailbox was found two days later on Green Avenue, south of Highway 74 near Homeland.

A second mailbox was stolen between 1:15 p.m. April 14 and 11:30 a.m. April 15 from the corner of Sunnywood and Sandwood streets in the Sun City area of Menifee.

Postal officials do not know if the motive was related to the income tax deadline. Most mail theft targets checks, gift cards or cash, Focht said. People are discouraged from mailing cash.

Anyone who may have information about the theft is asked to call postal inspectors at 1-877-876-2455, option 2, and refer to Case No. 1849381.

Why can’t record companies see that their business model is flawed and fading?

Very recently Madonna and RadioHead who are now free from their contracts turned the music distribution tables on their heads when Madonna announced she had signed a contract with a promoter, not a record company and RadioHead is making its music avaiable on the internet for as little as 2 cents per song.

It’s like…Duh, we don’t need record companies any more. I knew this a long time ago.

I want to set the record straight with the wrestling section?

Its not the WWE itself that makes me hate the company (though i’m not a big fan of the product and I think they could do much better) its the FANS that make me hate it. I know that sounds kind of dumb, but I simply cannot tolerate the way the WWE fans act. MOST of them act like fanboys/fangirls and act like cult followers to a cult. Bashing TNA and its product for simply no reason other than its in the same business and had the sack to call WWE out. Its not just this section either, its all over the internet. Try going to the TNA facebook page sometime, its INFESTED with WWE fanboys bashing the holy hell out of the company. Why not stick to the WWE facebook page? whats the point of mindless bashing? what does it solve? Does it make WWE or TNA any better? does it make the fans lives better? the answer is NO to all the above. My point is, if your a “company fan”, than that’s fine, but you don’t have to sit there and relentlessly bash what I love just b/c you don’t share the same view. Its petty and immature. And yes, SOME TNA fans ARE guilty of bashing too. But when all we here is “TNA sucks” and “TNA is gonna die” and “TNA is nothing but WWE rejects” and stupid crap of that sort, what are we suppose to do? just sit there and take it? if all you WWE fans heard was how much WWE sucks on a constant basis, especially on monday and friday nights (I say that b/c Thursday nights WWE fans come out in droves just to bash TNA) wouldn’t you get tired of it?

Bottomline: People seem to really have lost their sense of respect for one another, and the internet hasn’t helped much. As a matter of fact, I DID want to be a wrestling promoter in the indies, that was my DREAM. But after experiencing the IWC and seeing how jaded the fans really are and how they nitpick everything, why in the hell would I even want to be a promoter? IMO, the internet truly has killed wrestling. Not the fall of WCW, not Vince McMahon, the internet. The element of suprise is gone from it and the fans all of a sudden feel like they are “experts” on the wrestling business. You know what a big part of wrestling being successful in the 90’s was? the fans didn’t nitpick every little thing and appreciated what was put out, and the element of suprise was still there b/c spoiler sites didnt ruin it. It wasn’t just innovative storylines and concepts like people claim.

What do you think about studying online with a University?

I have been to a traditional college for about 2 years and got my Associates in Business Administration there. I moved far away overseas and decided to study with a popular US University Online, because it offered me the flexibility and the luxury of holding a BA in Marketing in a bit longer than 2 years with transfered credits. Seriously, though, if you are an employer or student, professor – what is your opinion on this and why? The school says that it is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association (ncahlc.org). Most of the business degrees are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs. My classes are super duper expensive, I do learn a great deal of theory, but have nearly no experience in my desired field of study. They focus on writing weekly papers, simulations, and team work. Internet or online communication. I am currently seeking an internship. But, what is your opinion and why? I am also trying to figure out if I should complete a Master’s with this University as well.

How do I start an online business?

I want to start a business/service making homemade invitations/announcements (for weddings, babies, birthdays, etc). I want to start out small and see if it grows into anything (i.e., online only). I would like to create a website detailing my services, but how do I find out how to create my webpage where people can put in their payment info securely and i get paid this way? Do need to do anything about letting the IRS know I have this business and that I am getting additional income from it? I really don’t know much about starting an online business… any detailed information (or websites) would be helpful. I have done searches on the web but have only found high level info (like how to write a business plan, think about who your target customers are, etc). I’m looking for more detailed info like how to build my webpage, how to register my biz name, how to set-up receving payments, if I need to trademark anything, etc. Thanks in advance!

What are the legal procedures to start an online business for advertising?

I am starting a online business that offers many free stuff for users, and later some people will want to pay by PayPal to advertise on my website. I would like to ask you what are the legal procedures to let people advertise and pay a certain amount of money to me every month they want my online services in order for them to advertise on my website and do all of this legally?

What should I do to make this legal? What are the basic procedures? Please, help me, I don’t know anything about Law and I need to get more information in order to make my online business possible.
